A: PEDOCOP Theory consists of all lectures which you will listen to online. PEDOCOP Workshop is a hands-on workshop, as you get a first-hand experience on managing children at PDCP and doing dental procedures on them.
You are only eligible to enroll in the PEDOCOP Workshop after you have completed all modules of the PEDOCOP Theory. You will be given a certificate of completion at the end of all the modules.
A: All PEDOCOP Theory lectures were pre-recorded by the PDC consultants. You can listen to the lectures online wherever you are, as long as you have an internet access.
A: To listen to the lectures, all you need is a gadget with an internet access (laptop, tablet, smartphone), with a minimum internet speed of 5mbps. We suggest a big screen so you will be able to read the slides well. We also suggest that you listen to the lectures in a quiet place so you will be able to focus and take down notes, if necessary.
A: There are 5 modules in PEDOCOP Theory. Each module has several lectures. Each module is designed to focus on one particular area. For example, the first module is INVESTIGATE. The lectures included in this module are all about looking into the child and how to make a proper assessment and diagnosis. Therefore, the lectures included are the rights of the child, the cognitive development of the child, caries risk assessment, caries progression and diagnosis of the pulp. The complete list of the modules and the specific lectures for each are located in this website.
The fifth module, the RESCUE - as we give you insights on how to manage trauma on a child’s primary and permanent teeth. This was not included in the PEDOCOP lectures in the past.
A: You have access to each module for one week. You may watch it at your own pace. At the completion of each module, you will be asked to register for the next module.
For one-time-payment registrants, you will be given access to all 5 modules for one month.
A: No. If you finished Module 1, you may proceed to enroll to Module 2 at any time you wish to. Your access to Module will still be one week from your date of enrollment.
A: The following is the fees of the PEDOCOP Theory modules. You may pay for it per module, or you may do a one-time payment for all the modules.

A: No, you cannot skip modules. The modules are designed to be systematic, to be listened to one after the other.

A: Your login is unique and cannot be shared. However, if you have a friend who will watch the lectures with you, only one person will be granted a certificate of completion. The one who earns the certificate is the one who will be eligible to attend the workshop.
A: No, we are sorry you cannot get a refund.
A: The fee of the PEDOCOP Theory does not include the PEDOCOP Workshop. That is a separate registration.
A: No, you cannot get a refund. You have access to each module for a week. We suggest that you go to an area with a stronger internet signal. You will be able to finish one module in half a day.
A: There is a total of 20 lectures, divided in 5 modules.
A: Please watch out for the announcement of the schedule and the fees of the PEDOCOP Workshop on our media platforms (website and FB page). We will also send a personal email and an SMS for those who are eligible to enroll.
A: No, they don’t but you may apply them for self-directed learning at PRC. The number of hours will be reflected on your certificate.
A: While you may take screenshots of the slides, please be reminded that these can only be for your personal use. This is the intellectual property of the Pediatric Dentistry Center Philippines, and therefore it cannot be used for any commercial purpose. We also ask that you be mindful of the Data Privacy Act. We have been granted permission from the parents and caregivers to put the pictures of the children on the slides. However, let us be conscious of their rights and privacy.
A: Yes. The post-test questions help you learn the key points of the lecture. Therefore, it is required that you get most of the answers correct before you move on to the next lecture. If you fail the post-test, you may take it again and again.
A: As long as you have a PRC license in dentistry, you may enroll in PEDOCOP. You may listen to the PEDOCOP Theory modules anywhere in the world, as long as you have an internet connection.
A: All lectures are web-based. All you need is an internet connection. If you believe that you have a strong internet connection and cannot still access it, the website might be on a scheduled maintenance. From time to time, the website will be maintained and cleaned, which will briefly take the website offline. This will take an hour or two. Please come back after a few hours.
